The municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra offers public preschool education.

Awarding of a scholarship to all students from the municipal school group who enter higher education. The amount varies according to the student’s academic performance, ranging from €1,150 to €1,450.

Free transportation network for all students in the municipality’s school district up to the 12th grade.

In addition to the textbooks provided by the Central Government, the City Council offers all students in the School Group workbooks up to the 12th grade.

Social

Direct allocation to families, in phases, of €5,000 for the birth of their first and second children, and €10,000 for the birth of their third and subsequent children.

Birth Support Program Regulations

This project guarantees full coverage of the entire municipality with a public passenger transport network in areas with poor or non-existent service. With the collaboration of taxi drivers in the municipality, this service covers 52 villages that are not served by regular public transport, guaranteeing these populations on-demand transport.

The City Council, in conjunction with ARS Centro, provides free transportation, upon request by the user, from their place of residence to the Pampilhosa da Serra Health Center for medical appointments.

The Pampilhosa da Serra Health Center, in conjunction with the City Council, provides home nursing services in order to bring primary health care to those who are unable to travel.
